| Harvard Girls Kick It Up A Notch |
Harvard Head Coach Sue Caples and Self Defense's Andrea Muccini have been life long friends and decided to give the field hockey team an alternate workout. Sue and Andrea grew up in the same neighborhood and played field hockey at UMASS together. Sue said last year was a "challenging season" which started at 5-1 and finished with a record of 6-11. Sue adds that the team is "working hard and is excited about next season". Despite this record senior Captain midfielder Jen McDavitt was unanimously named first-team All-Ivy League. Sue and Assistant Jemima Cameron have high hopes for the spring league and plan at making a run at the "Teapot", field hockey's version of the Beanpot. The team will consist of 3 seniors, 4 Juniors and 6 freshwomen.
