| South Boston Mite A Hockey Team Secures FIRST Place |
The South Boston Mite A team secured first place in the most competitive Mite A North Division by winning their game on Friday night in Belmont. With a final score of 7-4, and lots of fast action and great playing by everyone on the team, they kept the number one spot.
Over the Christmas break, the team played in the Cranberry Classic Tournament in Pembroke and won every game to capture the Tournament! Each player was presented with a Tournament trophy. Matthew Vidala, #99, won the MVP (most valuable player) and was awarded an additional much deserved trophy!
The team’s standings are very impressive. They have 8 wins, no losses or ties. In league competition, they have 18 wins, no losses or ties. If including the tournament, they have 24 wins, no losses or ties! Mighty impressive for Mite A players.
The team continues with their Friday night practices proving to their coaches they have the stamina to pull off what it takes to stay in FIRST place!
