Oh Well, It Was Only a Game
By Rick Winterson

With the incessant turnovers – five, in total – it was obvious the Pats would lose.  They actually outgained the Broncos by well over 100 yards, and the time of possession was about equal.  But the only stat that counts in the playoffs is turnovers – 9 out of 10 times, the team with fewer turnovers wins in playoff games, no matter what else happens.

The game was fairly exciting until the fourth quarter.  However, it wasn’t anything compared to the nail-biter put on by the Steelers over the Colts the next day.

The crowds were philosophical about the Patriot’s loss.  They seemed to enjoy the evening and each other’s company, at what is a very nice spectrum of places to go around the old hometown.  Certainly, there were no poor losers.  A good time was had by all.

Bill, Dave, and Tom are optimistic in front of the big screen at Amrhein's - "Where ev'rybody knows your na-ame!"

The crowd at Six (6) House is glued to the TV in the second quarter.

It's not looking too good during the third quarter at the Quencher.

What ever happened to the Dixie Chicks? They ended up at Seapoint watching the Pats.

They were partying on the pool tables at Seapoint.

An anniversary couple (six months, yet!) aren't concentrating on the game at Seapoint.
