Tim Cahill was seriously wounded a week ago Monday. This was a shocking and bizarre tragedy - his assailant apparently mistook Cahill for someone else.  Tim is recuperating but still has quite a way to go before he’s up and about.  The hospital officially lists his condition as “Critical but Stable”.

     According to Tim’s uncle, Robert “Bubba” Cahill, the Boston Police are pursuing this case with great concern and energy, especially the officers at South Boston’s Station C-6.  Tim and his family need a quiet time to insure that he is on the road to complete recovery.  It is too soon for cards, phone calls, or visits, but the Cahills would welcome your thoughts and prayers.  We have heard that the Neighborhood House where Tim works is planning a Blood Bank Drive for mid-October – we’ll keep you posted.
