Applications for the Southie Kids Care Volunteer Scholarships are now available at the following locations:  local school offices, South Boston Public Library, South Boston Senior Center, South Boston Neighborhood House, Boys & Girls Club or email   southiekidscare@hotmail.com  to have one sent to you.  (please indicate scholarship application in the subject line).

     South Boston residents who are between the ages of 5-22 are eligible to apply.  Additional criteria are listed on the application.  Volunteer experiences, including scouts, coaching, Southie Kids Care activities, or any non-paid community service will be considered for this award.  Scholarships ($250) will be awarded in 5 age categories.  Application deadline is JUNE 12, 2006.  Scholarships will be awarded at the end of June.
