January 27, 2006

     About 11:00 a.m. officers responded to 330 Congress Street for a larceny report. Victim/manager of Neoscape Inc. reports a well dressed male entered the building a stole two Toshiba lap top computers. Suspect fled unknown direction.

     About 6:00 p.m. officers responded to 634 Dorchester Avenue for burglar alarm. Victim reports side alley door was ajar and a panel was missing from the front door. A lap top computer was missing.

January 28, 2006

     About 7:58 p.m. officers responded to Dollar City at 443 West Broadway for an armed robbery report. Victim reports a male suspect entered the store wearing a mask and pointing a black handgun. Suspect demanded the cash register be opened. Victim picked up the telephone calling 911. Suspect fled the store unknown direction. No cash taken. The suspect kept his left hand in the left sweatshirt pocket as if he was hiding a tattoo or cast on his hand. This act is similar in other robberies.

     About 10:00 p.m. officers responded to 18 Gates Street for a B&E report. Victim reports unknown persons forced open a side door and stole jewelry and U.S. Currency.

January 30, 2006

     About 1:30 p.m. officers responded to 334 Dorchester Street for a commercial alarm at the Vivian Mini Market. Witness reports he heard a smashing sound and observed a male suspect exit the store with a large barrel on wheels and turn into the housing development. Officers found the suspect with the barrel which contained forty cartons of assorted cigarettes. A positive identification was made of the suspect by the witness. Suspect transported to district six for booking.

     About 10:18 p.m. officers responded to ‘L’ Street and East Third Street for a motor vehicle accident involving a taxi cab. Victim reports she got into the cab downtown and headed towards South Boston. The operator was driving erratically and failed to stop for several red lights. She told the driver to pull over and let her out, but he refused. Moments later the taxi cab smashed into a parked vehicle. The operator was very unsteady on his feet and had to be assisted into the police cruiser. Officers found a plastic bag on the front seat containing a green herb substance believed to be marijuana. Suspect placed under arrest and transported to district six for booking.

January 31, 2006

     About 6:05 p.m. officers responded to 68 Telegraph Street for a B&E report. Victim reports when she returned home to her apartment she found the door lock broken. Unknown person enter the apartment a left in complete disarray. Victim was not sure at this time if anything was missing.
