Please join the Friends of the South Boston Branch Library for their Final Book Sale of the year on Saturday, December 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Boston Branch. The book donations just keep on coming at the Library so there will be plenty of goodies available, including adult and juvenile hardcovers and paperbacks, with lots of non-fiction and romance-and all at low, low prices! If you love books yourself or know someone who would love a wonderful pre-owned (used) book as a gift, you won't want to miss this golden opportunity to increase someone's collection!       Also at the Library: ¡Libros en Espanol! Our Spanish-language book section is growing by leaps and bounds. We have expanded our circulating collection of both adult and children's books in Spanish. The collections now include adult fiction as well as non-fiction material such as biography, yoga, child care, and medicine, and children's fiction, animal books, and Spanish for English-speakers. Our Spanish-language books are useful not only to those who already read Spanish and are looking for newer material, but also to those who want to learn and practice the language.
