| Boston Police C-6 Fishing Academy/Peninsula Yacht Club |
On Saturday, September 24, 2005 police officers from district six community service office and members of the Peninsula Yacht Club held a fishing trip for the youths who participated in the summer fishing academy. Several members of the yacht club donated their time and boats to take the youths out into Boston Harbor for a morning of great fishing. We caught many fish mostly blue fish and striped bass. A cookout was held at the yacht club when the boats returned to the dock. Everyone had a great time thanks to the local sponsors who donated time and money to make this program a summer success. We plan to continue this program next summer.
