For those of you casting about for a location for your Holiday party, there’s a pre-season gift awaiting you on West Broadway. It is Tom Flaherty’s Cornerstone, which has a private function room looking out onto Broadway Square, just across from the station.
In most areas of Boston, getting a facility for a party is virtually impossible between now and the end of the year. Give Tom a call if you need a place to celebrate – he’ll be able to help you.
The Cornerstone function room has its own parking, and a separate entrance into the room (handicapped accessible). The décor consists of mirrored dark green walls with maple trim. There is a fireplace at the rear, and optional platforms for a head table, a DJ’s bandstand, or entertainment. The Cornerstone’s hardwood floor is ideal for dancing.
The room holds 150 people seated at tables – each of 30 tables seats five people comfortably. Arrangements for dining can be simple – Tom can prepare a buffet in the Cornerstone’s kitchen. Or you can choose elegance. Tom will arrange roast beef, chicken, or seafood main courses catered from the outside and served on tablecloths and china.
While you are enjoying your Holiday party in the Cornerstone’s function room, think about it for other events as well. In addition to Christmas Holiday festivities, the Cornerstone has hosted almost every other kind of celebration imaginable – wedding parties, christenings, political fundraisers, community fundraisers, collations after funerals, birthdays and anniversaries, testimonial dinners, retirement banquets, and other holidays such as Halloween and New Year.
Tom’s clients at the Cornerstone include Gillette, Edison, the “T”, several union groups, and many political figures. He has provided entertainment ranging from local DJs to noted comics Lenny Clarke and Kenny Rogerson.
And Cornerstone prices, including the cost of refreshments, are very reasonable. Give Tom Flaherty a call at 617-269-9553.
