I would like to commend  the entire staff of “SouthBostononline” regarding  the article “Fire on Gates Street a Warning” published in the June 29, 2006 edition.  I was not aware of all of the guidelines, regarding the placement of barbecue grilles.  You not only saved the lives of the residents of South Boston, but also the lives of any individual who may have read this article.

I think the Mayors Office should send a copy of this to all Boston residents.
