I would like to extend my most sincere gratitude to the people who were instrumental in organizing this year's Memorial Day Ceremony at the South Boston Vietnam Memorial, especially Chair Tom Lyons.  Thanks to their efforts, the ceremony was a solemn and dignified reflection of the esteem in which we hold the men and women in uniform who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

     I consider it a great  honor to represent South Boston in the U.S. Congress.  I was honored to be apart of the evening's exercises, and I want to thank the hundreds of families who took part and helped to honor our service men and women.
