     The Thomas J. Fitzgerald Post No. 561 (VFW) will host a barbecue at the Post's Headquarters at 715 East Fourth Street on Thursday, July 21, at 6 p.m.  All veterans of the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Desert Storm, and prior wars are cordially invited to attend.  Join in with your fellow veterans for some summer cheer.

     The Fitzgerald Post recently installed the following officers:

     Commander - Redmond L. Clevenger

     Sr. Vice Commander - Lewis P. Kneeland

     Jr. Vice Commander - William H. Desmond

     Quartermaster - Robert J. Russell

     Adjutant - Jeremy G. Washburn

     Commander Clevenger has made increased membership in VFW Post 561 his top priority.
