| Pat Brennan Closes Out August with Rally of Support |

| Press Release |
 |
Patrick Brennan, South Boston resident and candidate for State Representative in the Fourth Suffolk District held his final event of August at Stadium Sports Bar & Grill. Over 180 supporters were in attendance to meet with Patrick and fuel his campaign as we approach the primary.
While addressing the crowd Brennan emphasized the important of his platform: bolstering community schools, creating jobs, and improving transparency within government. “Government transparency will help hold our officials accountable and will provide you, the taxpayer, more assurance that tax dollars are appropriated properly,” said Brennan.
Brennan characterized government financial reporting as “opaque,” and that we must first bring to light where money is spent to adequately give attention to our current fiscal problems. Patrick has often cited a culture of cloaked agreements and wasteful spending that keep citizens removed from the democratic process. He noted that his experience in auditing and business consulting makes him the best candidate to advocate for government efficiency and make strides towards closing the staggering budget deficit.
Patrick called for his supporters to continue to fight for new leadership on Beacon Hill and hold their representatives accountable. Visit BrennanForRep.com to learn more about his campaign and vote for Brennan on September 14th to fight against the culture of corruption and waste.
